Uniform

All pupils and students are required to wear Academy uniform. We expect the support of parents/carers in ensuring that their child is properly dressed and equipped, following the Secondary School uniform list and Uniform: Dress and Uniform policy for pupils.

Secondary School uniform is available to buy online from Rough Cut Casuals or Direct Schoolwear. Once you are on either website, go to ‘Find My School’ where you will see St Mary Magdalene Academy Secondary Boys and Secondary Girls.

The uniform can also be bought from Rough Cut Casuals at 16 Chapel Market, Islington, London N1 9EZ (phone: 020 7837 7924). Opening times are: Mon-Weds, Fri-Sat: 10am-6pm; Thurs: 10am-2pm; Sun: 10am-3pm.

Hairstyles – Extreme hairstyles are not permitted at the Academy. This includes dyed hair, extremely short hair and shaved patterns.

Jewellery – Only one simple necklace of recognised religious significance is permitted. One pair of small, plain stud earrings are allowed. Piercings of any other sort should be done at the beginning of the school summer holidays and must be removed for school.
