Year 10 Take Part in Jack Petchey’s Speak Out Challenge.

Posted on: 22nd Nov 2018

Last week, our Year 10 students took part in the first round of Jack Petchey’s Speak Out Challenge, the biggest annual public speaking competition for young people. In our school MPH, students made impassioned speeches to an audience of fellow students and staff, who then voted for two winners.

Well done to all our student speakers: all performed extremely well across a wide range of subjects – including an eloquent protest against homework, and a thoughtful tribute to the importance of reflection. After a close vote, two winners were selected for the power and energy of their speeches: congratulations to Kacie and Ethan!
