Dear Parents/Carers

International Performance Evening 2010
Thursday 11 March 7.00-10.00pm
Doors open 6.30pm using entrance on Liverpool Road
Tickets: Adults £4.00 Children £2.00

I am writing to invite you to attend our International Performance Evening when the Academy celebrates the diversity of cultures represented within our community. This will be a wonderful evening for families, young and old alike, to get together to enjoy themselves, while supporting the Academy.

The lively and informal evening will feature a variety of International music performed by students. There will also be an auction towards the end of the evening to raise money for our link school in Senegal. We are very fortunate to be able to auction an original signed photograph of the Arsenal first team, donated by Arsenal football club. We would also be appreciative if any parent/carer could donate an item, a promise or an experience for the auction. If you are able to do so please contact me on the email noted below. All the money will be used to improve the facilities of our link school in Senegal, during the Sixth Form visit in the summer holidays.

To make this evening a huge success we ask everyone to bring a dish of food to share after the performance. If possible the dish should represent the culture that individual students and families are from and must be nut free. We would appreciate hearing from any parents who have any links with restaurants that might be prepared to donate some food. If you are able to bring food please bring it to the forum, accessible from the Liverpool Road entrance, by 6.45pm. Everyone should bring their own drinks, although soft drinks are available.

250 tickets will be available from either the primary or secondary receptions from 2 March and must be purchased by Wednesday 10 March. Please bring your tickets to the event for entrance. No tickets will be available on the night.

Once again, I believe this will be a thoroughly enjoyable evening, and I look forward to seeing you on the night. Thank you in advance for all of your support.
