Our Christian ethos
A Christian ethos and open to all
This Academy, the first to be developed in Islington, is sponsored by the Church of England, and our educational vision draws from the deep well of learning and personal development found in the Christian tradition.
For more than 300 years, the Church has sponsored education in Islington and the new Academy is just the latest expression. Because our values and vision spring from our Christian ethos, we aim to develop an inclusive, non-sectarian atmosphere in which students of different faith traditions and worldviews learn to share their perspectives with respect and tolerance.
