Hawks is a nonprofit organization which provides a safe environment for boys and girls to learn about the game of Basketball, Football and Youth Leadership. We offer competitive experiences for those players and young people capable of playing with our teams that play at the local and national level and also offer leadership development for young people who are interested in active citizenship and community.

What we are

Hawks TOP (Teens Opportunities Program) was launched in 2005 because there is an overall need for organized and grass root sports and youth programs. The goal of the academy is to develop the best athletes and youth in the world at all levels of sports and active citizenship.

The program provides young people the skills necessary to excel in the physical, athletic and educational capabilities; to be able to perform the fundamental skills at an elite level, with the mental approach required to produce and sustain that high level of performance on a daily basis, and lifestyle habits necessary to unleash potential and maximum performance on court/pitch and in academics.

Each day, our coaches emphasize this formula for success and the importance of “living like a pro” to maximize results on the court/pitch and in school. Young people of all skill levels are encouraged to join in and take advantage of this opportunity.

This program is supported by Islington Schools Sports Partnerships (Sports Unlimited), Arsenal Football Club, St Mary Magdalene Academy and British Basketball.

Who is the program for

Our program is opened to all young people aged 7 to 16years old who are interested in sports, e.g. Basketball, Football, Youth Leadership and Active Citizenship.

How much does it cost
