  primary studentsAdmission to reception class:
Primary department

The published admission number for each year group is 30 pupils. This is based on the capacity of the school and on government legislation, which restricts the size of infant classes to 30.

Where the number of applications exceeds the number of places available, then the following criteria are strictly applied in the order of priority set down below:

1. Children having a brother or sister already in the primary school, whose parents/guardians are willing for them to take a full part in the Christian life of the school.

2. Children whose parents/guardians regularly attend St Mary Magdalene's, St David's or St Luke's church.

3. Children whose parents/guardians live in the Borough of Islington and regularly attend another Christian Churches or chapels.

4. Children whose parents/guardians are willing for them to take a full part in the Christian life of the school and who live the shortest distance. The distance from your home to the school is measured on a computerised mapping system operated by CEA using the shortest safest walking route.
