Pupils from the Primary School counil joined together with another seven school councils from Islington hurch of ENgland Schools for their next Parliament workshop.  The learnt about the House of Commons and House of Lords.  They were divided into two political parties and sat in the style of MPs across from one another.  A speaker was elected who enjoyed shouting, "Order! Order!" After a lively debate a majority voted for a three day working week and a ban on homework!  Good luck getting that past the head teachers!  An excellent activity to bring schools and parliament together in better understanding democracy.
